When a response contains a job_id, the request was accepted but the work is not complete.
Poll the job resource:
Stop when the status is terminal. Use a bounded timeout and persist the last observed status. Polling guidance:
  • Start with a short delay, then increase it for long-running jobs.
  • Do not exceed the documented rate limit.
  • Persist the job ID and request context in your logs.
  • Read the error or summary before retrying failed work.
  • Prefer the job.completed webhook when a push workflow is appropriate.
