# Platform operations

> Use jobs, analytics, do-not-contact, connected accounts, and Copilot safely.

## Jobs

When an endpoint returns a job ID, persist it with the originating request and workspace context. Poll the job endpoint with increasing delays, stop at a terminal state, and inspect partial results before retrying.

## Analytics

Analytics are read models and may lag behind a just-completed send, call, or campaign transition. Use resource state and job status for operational decisions; use analytics for reporting and trends.

## Do-not-contact

Check DNC state before creating or enrolling leads into outbound campaigns. Treat a DNC add as a protective mutation and require an audit trail. Removing a DNC entry should require explicit authorization.

## Connected accounts

Connected-account responses identify available channels, not necessarily a guarantee that a specific campaign step can send. Confirm account status, channel availability, and campaign preflight results before launch.

## Copilot

Copilot streams responses and may expose approval or rejection operations for proposed actions. Treat approval as a mutation gate: show the proposed action to a human or policy engine before calling the approval endpoint.
