# API Reference

> Complete reference for all Sendora public API endpoints.

## Base URL

```
https://api.sendora.ai
```

All endpoints in this reference are prefixed with `/api/v1/public/`.

## Authentication

Pass your API key in every request header:

```
X-API-Key: sk_live_your_key_here
```

See [Authentication](/authentication) for how to generate keys.

## Interactive playground

Every endpoint in this reference has a live **Try it** playground. Enter your API key in the authentication panel (top right) and make real API calls against your production workspace directly from the docs.

<Warning>
  The playground uses your real production data. Use an `sk_test_` key if you don't want to affect live campaigns or leads.
</Warning>

## Response conventions

| Aspect | Convention |
| - | - |
| Format | JSON (`Content-Type: application/json`) |
| Timestamps | ISO 8601 UTC (`2026-06-22T10:00:00Z`) |
| IDs | Opaque strings, do not parse structure |
| Pagination | `page` + `per_page` on list endpoints; some use `cursor` + `next_cursor` |
| Empty lists | Always `[]`, never `null` |
| Booleans | `true` / `false` (never `0`/`1`) |

## Pagination

List endpoints support two pagination styles:

**Offset pagination** (leads, campaigns, jobs):

```
GET /api/v1/public/leads?page=2&per_page=50
```

Returns: `{ items, total, page, per_page }`

**Cursor pagination** (conversations):

```
GET /api/v1/public/conversations?cursor=<next_cursor_from_prev_response>&limit=50
```

Returns: `{ items, next_cursor }`, `next_cursor` is `null` when there are no more pages.
